The mystery of Donald Trump's visit to the Washington, D.C. area on Monday was solved by JimmyFallon.
The group of people at the golf resort were not playing golf. The group included Trump National Golf Club manager Joe Roediger, the course's grounds director Brad Enie, and the Trump Organization executive vice president for development Lawrence Glick. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that the golf course visit was a work trip.
The host of "The Tonight Show" was suspicious of the group's purpose at the resort.
"Trump was like, 'So, I think I buried the documents somewhere around here so start digging boys,'" said the host. Trump asked if he could meet on the green with no clubs so it wouldn't look suspicious.
