After a period of silence in memory of Queen Elizabeth II, a number of teams requested to play God Save the King, but the anthem will not be played before Wednesday's games.

The national anthem won't be played before the Rangers and Manchester City games in the European club competition.

God Save the King was requested to be played by three British clubs in memory of Queen Elizabeth II.

Rangers fans are expected to pay tribute to The Queen and sing the anthem before the game.

There will be no anthem played in the UK for the sake of maintaining a subdued atmosphere and without any celebrations.

There will be no away fans allowed at the match in Naples for sporting integrity due to the fact that only Rangers fans will be in attendance.

There will be a moment of silence and players will wear black in memory of the queen.

State of play

Football in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland was put off last weekend as a mark of respect to The Queen.

A lack of police numbers has led to the postponement of Manchester United's game against Elland Road and the game between Wigan and Crystal Palace.

The game between Crystal Palace andBrighton had already been postponed.

The games involving British teams will go on as scheduled.

The FA has confirmed the Women's Super League and grassroots football will be back this weekend.

Football will be suspended on the day of the Queen's funeral according to the FA.
