The Harlem Globetrotters will return to network TV for the first time in more than four decades.

The Harlem Globetrotters will appear in a weekly show called "Harlem Globetrotters: Play it forward" on NBC.

Craig Robinson is the host of the show. It will show the players and their connections to the community. T.E.A.M. Up and Hoops for the Troops were some of the things the Globetrotters were involved in.

Frank Biancuzzo said that many of them grew up watching the Globetrotters. They are role models in the community and magicians on the basketball court.

Space exploration with NASA, financial responsibility and literacy, urban farming, and female empowerment are some of the topics that will be covered in each episode.

The Harlem Globetrotters want to expand their reach with a new generation of fans and that's why they're moving back to television.

Craig Robinson will host “Harlem Globetrotters: Play it Forward” a new 30-minute weekly show airing on NBC.

The Harlem Globetrotters were in a Saturday morning cartoon that featured animated versions of the basketball team. The show featured a weekly formula where the team would travel to try and help resolve local issues over a basketball game.

The Globetrotters would find a way to win the game even though the opposing team might try to rig it. The formula was used for the show "The Super Globetrotters."

The Globetrotters appeared in a variety show in the 70s called "The Harlem Globetrotters Popcorn Machine," which showcased their skills through comedy skits.

On Saturdays at 11 a.m., the show will be live-action and broadcasted. There is a programming block on NBC.

NBCUniversal is a part of the company.
