Xiaomi Developer Attempts to Imitate iPhone 14 Pro's Dynamic Island

A developer has set out to recreate Apple's Dynamic Island experience from the iPhone 14 Pro onXiaomi's flagship phones by incorporating the hole-punch cutout into an interactive and dynamic area of the display.

The hole-punch cutout at the top left of the display was used to show the current playing song in the new theme, called "GrumpyUI". The theme is being reviewed by the company. The developer tried to bring Dynamic Island to the devices.

There is a new area at the top of the phones called Dynamic Island that integrates the TrueDepth camera into the experience. The Dynamic Island is used in the iPhone 14 Pro to show notifications and information at the top of the screen.

Some people say that Dynamic Island is Apple's best design in a long time. In addition to Dynamic Island, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have a 48MP main camera, better performance, and more.

Pre-order for the iPhone 14 lineup was made available last Friday. The exception of the iPhone 14 Plus will arrive on September 16. The Apple product will be on sale on October 7.
