  • A new rumor about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra's camera sensor has surfaced.
  • Samsung's next higher-end flagship phone will supposedly include a 200MP ISOCELL sensor with a 1/1.3-inch sensor size.
  • Its camera design is also said to be similar to the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Thanks to recent leaks, we have a good idea of the camera specifications of the upcoming S23 Ultra, but more context about its sensor size has been elusive.

There is a rumor that says the successor to the S22 Ultra will have a smaller camera sensor. According to reliable leaker Ice universe, the S23 Ultra will have a 200MP camera, as previously rumored. The camera sensor is supposed to be 1/6-inch in size and has a shutter speed of f/ 1.7 and a resolution of 0.6m.

The next-gen flagship phone will have a modest camera upgrade over its predecessor, if this is correct. The S22 Ultra's primary camera has a 0.8m resolution on a 1/3.33-inch sensor. The S23 Ultra's camera will be able to let in more light, which will result in brighter images and less noise.

The sensor will be slightly smaller than the ones found on many of this year's best phones, according to a person who has knowledge of the matter. The ISOCELL module in the S23 Ultra will be different from the other options on the market, according to a report. The ISOCELL HP2 will sit between the ISOCELL HP1 and the HP3 according to rumors.

The rear camera module of the S23 Ultra resembles that of the S22 Ultra. The phone is rumored to have the same dimensions and resolution as the current model.

Rumors suggest that the S23 Ultra won't change anything in the camera department. A previous rumor claimed that the new phone would have the same periscope lens as the previous one.

When the time comes, things could be very different since it's still a few months away from the launch of its next flagship series.
