Wilde and Harry Styles started dating after the pair called off their engagement.
Wilde was speaking about the film on stage at CinemaCon in April when she was served with child custody documents, a move that she said was meant to "embarrass me professionally."
According to Variety, a source close to Sudeikis insisted that he had no prior knowledge of the time and place where Wilde received the documents, and that he would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate way.

Wilde was confused as to where she was served with the legal papers and how she was able to get to the CinemaCon stage.

The hurdles that you had to jump through to get into that room with several badges, plus special COVID tests that had to be taken days in advance, gave you wristbands that were necessary to gain access to the event.
Wilde told Vanity Fair that the move was consistent with her experience of the relationship.
Sudeikis has yet to speak to the public.
The win comes on the heels of a string of accomplishments for Sudeikis, who also serves as executive producer, writer and creator on the show. The actor has been honored with a number of awards for his work on the show.
