Ray J says Kris Jenner made him and Kim Kardashian film a second sex tape and then watched both to choose which one to release

Kris was said to have watched multiple versions of the sex tape so that she could choose the one that looked best for her daughter.

Ray J, whose full name is William Ray Norwood Jr., spoke again about the sex tape after Caitlyn said that she did not help release the tape while sitting for a lie detector test.

In a 44-minute long video, Ray J said that he, Jenner, andKardashian collaborated to release the tape that catapulted the family into the public eye, showing a purported contract he said was used to negotiate the deal. The three "deliverables" were identified in one document as "tape 1 Cabo intro," "tape 2 Cabo sex" and "tape 3 Santa Barbara sex"

In an earlier 28-minute-long video, Ray J said that he and Kim had been asked to make a tape.

"The third sex tape, or the second they been trying to play me on, that shit called 'Santa Barbara sex,' her momma made us go shoot it for safety." She decided to go with the first one because it was better. It makes my daughter look better than the first one.

In the 44-minute video, Ray J said that the deliverables were written in Kim's handwriting and that she and Bruce were rushing him to sign them.

A representative for the two people didn't reply to Insider's request.

The tape, which was released in 2007, was claimed to have been purchased for $1 million by a third party, according to People. The footage of Ray J and KimKardashian was shot in Cabo San Lucas in 2002.

In May, Ray J told the Daily Mail that the tape was a partnership between Kim and Kris. He told the publication that he decided to speak out after the tape appeared in the first few episodes of the show.

Kim said on the show that she was being threatened with the release of the sex tape. Ye traveled from New York City to Los Angeles and back to get the remaining footage from Ray J in the third episode.

In the past, Kim and Bruce have poked fun at the idea that they orchestrated the release of the tape. The sex tape was "premiering" in 2007, but her mother forgot to tell her, so she cracked a joke about it.
