Lock Screen Customization

One of the biggest visual changes we've seen on the iPhone in a long time is the Lock Screen. You can change the look and feel of the Lock Screen by setting custom wallpaper, changing the fonts of the time, and even choosingWidgets that you can see on the screen.

Health and Fitness

New health and fitness-related features are included in every update of the mobile operating system. You can keep tabs on what you're taking with a dedicated medication tracking feature.

Other new features include health sharing invitations, fitness tracking without an Apple Watch, and more.

It's easier to share photos with friends and family with the introduction of the shared photo library. Up to five people can be supported in a shared library.

Live Text

Live Text allows you to pause a video and choose the text inside like you would in an image. In a paused video frame, text can be copied, pasted, and translated.

Security and Privacy

Landscape Face ID, Security Check, faster security updates, Passkeys, and more are some of the security and privacy focused updates that can be found in the newest version of the mobile operating system.

Notes and Reminders

There are updated smart folders, notes can be locked with a device password, and Quick Notes can be used on the iPhone for the Notes app.

Photos and Camera

There are a lot of neat features in the Photos app, such as the option to copy and paste edits, and more secure hidden and recently deleted albums.

There is an option to remove duplicate photos, the people album can be sorted, and the Camera app can be used to translate.

Spotlight Search

The "Search" button on the Home screen has been changed to make it easier to get to Spotlight search, and it now supports Quick Actions for doing things like starting a timer, or running a shortcut.

The Weather app now lets you tap into any of the Weather modules to get more information on metrics like temperature, precipitation, air quality, UV index, and more.
