The price of a battery replacement on the iPhone 14 is $30 more than before. The cost to replace the battery on any of the 14 models of the phone is 99 dollars, a steep increase from the previous price of 69 dollars.

The longest battery life ever is what Apple says it has in the iPhone 14, Plus, Pro, and Pro max models. There is a glimpse of what to expect in a filing on the hazardous materials database.

The iPhone 14 has a watt-hour capacity of 12.68Wh, while the iPhone 13 has a watt-hour capacity of 12.41 Wh. It looks like the Pro Max's watt-hour capacity is the same as the iPhone 13's, sitting at 16.68Wh and 18.25Wh, respectively. It is not clear what caused the price hike. Apple didn't reply immediately.

If you pre-ordered an Apple product, you won't have to worry about replacing the battery. Under its AppleCare program, Apple will only replace your battery if it holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity, and its iPhone batteries can hold up to 80 percent of their original capacity after 500 complete charge cycles. If you need the repair done out of Apple's one-year warranty, the price is only applicable. AppleCare Plus now offers unlimited repairs for battery replacements.
