I've mentioned this 60-second meditation website a few times before in our discussions on meditation, how to stop overthinking, and how to keep your spirits high when life stinks - but we've never featured it in a Tool of the Trade, so I thought we would today. Basically, you write in ONE thought that is bothering you, and you watch the thought physically get smaller as the moon gets farther away, while the site helps remind you of how infinite the universe is and how microscopic and unimportant this thought is. Personally I find it really helpful for those anxious kinds of thoughts (for example, "monopolized the conversation at the dinner party last Saturday") and less for those "something is actually wrong" kind of thoughts like "my loved one has cancer." I also like how it forces you to kind of prioritize your anxious thoughts and just write one - when I'm going through one of my anxiety loops I could easily shout out 5-10 things that are definitely, totally wrong. The website is free; I highly recommend you bookmark it. Pixel Thoughts
