The airspace at Scotland's busiest airport will be closed on Tuesday to make sure Queen Elizabeth II's coffin is not damaged.
Although the airport will remain open to passengers during this time, the airspace will be closed on Tuesday and some flights will be delayed or canceled.
Insider requested confirmation from representatives for Edinburgh airport.
Travelers were warned that some flights had been changed.
"If you're traveling with us to or from Edinburgh on Tuesday 13 September, some of our flights have been re-timing or combined due to the late afternoon closing of the airport," the company said.
There will be more traffic and congestion at the airport than usual, and the airline warned passengers.
The coffin of the late Queen is on its way to London for her funeral.
The Queen's coffin was taken by road to Edinburgh's Palace of Holyrood on Sunday. It was laid to rest in the Palace overnight and will be flown to London on Tuesday.
The Royal Air Force base in London will receive the coffin at 6 pm. The public will be able to visit the coffin and pay their respects at the funeral parlour.
