Planets of the Solar System: Tilts and Spins

The video was created by James O'Donoghue.

What does your favorite planet do? Does it spin around in a circle? The NASA images of all the planets in our Solar System are shown side by side in the featured video. A day on Earth can be seen in a time-lapse video. Venus is the slower of the two, but Jupiter is the fastest. During the early days of the Solar System, the rocky planets across the top underwent spin-changing collisions. There is a lot of insight gained from modern computer modeling and the recent discovery and analysis of hundreds of exoplanets.
