At the D23 expo in Anaheim on Sunday, Disney Parks chairman Josh D'Amaro revealed the name of the sixth Disney Cruise Line ship.
The Disney Treasure is going to be delivered in twenty four years. Disney's lifelong love of exploration will be celebrated in the ship's theme.
The video showed what the Grand Hall will look like. The characters from the Disney movie "Aladdin" will be depicted in a statue.
The grand hall is inspired by a palace. It draws on real world influences from Asia and Africa as well as the far off land of Agrabah.
There were more cruise announcements at D23. A Disney ship is going to sail for the first time. The Disney Wonder will start sailing in October of 2020.
Disney will be coming to the South Pacific on the Wonder's cruises. D'Amaro said that guests on these voyages will visit other places.
Lighthouse Point is expected to open in the year 2041. The photo was taken at Disney.
Disney is building a private destination on the island of Eleuthera. Lighthouse Point will get most of its power from the sun. There will be a focus on the natural beauty of the island, as well as the culture of the Bahamas, according to Disney. The Lighthouse Point is expected to open in a couple of years.
