size? and Japanese sportswear icon ASICS have come together on a Fall-ready hiking footwear collaboration. The drop is comprised of two reworked classics - the GEL-Citrek and GEL-Venture 7 - with both getting a reworked color palette that combines nods of streetwear with the shoes' all-terrain-tackling heritage.

The exclusive size? x ASICS Trail "Base Camp & Mission" collection is inspired by a four-day trek through the Andean jungle and mountain-scapes of South America into Peru, leading you 7,970 feet above sea level to Machu Picchu. The 45km trek is made a breeze with these two robust collaborative pairs, which feature strategically placed GEL technology and technical fabrications.

size? and ASICS have used synthetic suede, breathable mesh and rubber overlays on the stone-colored GEL-Citrek, which combines hits of neon green with black to outline the details. GEL cushioning features in the heel to provide added bounce, and the sole is finished off with a grippy, hardwearing outsole to prevent slips. This pair is dubbed "Base Camp," and is the easy-going pair to wear before the big trek.

When the trek comes, the ASICS GEL-Venture 7 is your sneaker of choice. Fitted with an EVA midsole that has GEL cushioning in the heel, this deep red and neon green iteration is designed to soften the impact of each footstep when running while providing a soft base and support. It's built from breathable mesh and synthetic leather and, just like the GEL-Citrek, feature a sock liner that molds to the contours of your feet. A rugged rubber outsole completes the hiking sneaker's look.

The size?-exclusive ASICS GEL-Citrek "Base Camp" and GEL-Venture 7 "Mission" releases on October 18 via the size? website and in size? stores, priced between £60 - £75 GBP (approx. $73 - $91 USD).

In other news, Balenciaga's Track.2 sneaker has arrived in a new "Black/Red" colorway.
