Two decades after the events of 9/11, a failed terrorist is still trying to get a refund after his flight was canceled.
He missed his flight in 2001. He was re booked on a flight the next day. The failed terrorist has regretted his actions ever since. Al-Shehri was a disgrace to his family. He couldn't go home because he was afraid of being beaten and cast out.
Al-Shehri settled into a quiet life outside of Jacksonville, Florida, where he runs a flight instructor school. He would use his newfound talents to teach others how to reach their goals.
He was involved in a lengthy battle to get a Refunds for canceled flights.
The American Airlines flight from Charlotte to St. Louis was canceled on the day of the attack. They weren't able to live out their dreams because all flights were grounded.
He was placed on a no-fly list after American Airlines refused to give him a first class ticket back for the flight he didn't take.
Al-Shehri wants to destigmatize terrorists and get his money back.
Al-Shehri said that American Airlines should give him his money back because he didn't choose terrorism. I didn't plan an attack in 15 years, but I did take the library to court for charging me late fees. It went further than that. They should act in the right way.
The post is called...satire.
Most Americans remember the events of 9/11 very well. The class I was teaching that morning was full of Marines from a nearby base. The Marines were activated after watching the horror unfold. We were fighting a war.
I felt the shift that had just occurred when I was a Marine. After that day, we wouldn't be the same. I reflect on the horror of that day on the anniversary. The good people who died and the men and women who died in service of our country. I would like you to do the same.
I hope you think about the fact that despite the attempts of 15 hijackers, we are still a free country. That is a great thing.
Oh...and terrorism.
