The UN Human Rights Council is considering taking action against China for its treatment of Uyghur Muslims, according to a report.

The UN committee is debating how to respond to the UN report that said Uyghur people in China's Xinjiang region face persecution or imprisonment if they refuse radio and television.

As a new term for the UN Human Rights Council starts on Monday, the debate is getting more heated.

Some democratic countries are considering their options for how they can respond to China, including a formal ruling or recommendation on the matter, according to some Western diplomats.

For the first time in the history of the human rights council, a resolution will be brought on China.

The agenda for the council session from September 12 to October 4 does not include any discussions about Uighurs, meaning that one of the 47 countries on the council will have to propose it.

The report said that members are considering the chance to hold China accountable against the potential effects of taking action during the current global crisis.

Some diplomats don't like the idea of not acting.

According to a Western diplomat speaking on condition of anonymity, if the majority decided not to act after the China report, it would mean that the universalist vision of human rights is at stake.

There is a cost of failing to act, a cost of failing to act and a cost of failing to act.

She escaped from an internment camp for Uyghur muslims. She said that police watch your at- home conversations and question any references to Islam. She said that people were taken away if they had anything to do with their faith.

She said she was forced to deny the existence of Allah after she was taken to an internment camp.

There are allegations of human rights abuses against Uyghur Muslims.

The UN report was "orchestrated and produced by the US and some Western forces and is completely illegal and void," it said.

Wang said that the report was a political tool used by the U.S. and other countries to contain China.

China tried to prevent the state from taking action against it.

The developing world will reject all anti-China initiatives, according to the Ambassador of China to the UN.

He said that any anti-China effort is doomed to fail.

There are discussions on the wars in Ethiopia and Ukraine on the council's agenda.
