Assassin's Creed Mirage will bring the series back to its roots in 2023

The next entry in the action-adventure series will be released in 2023. During its event, the publisher announced the release date. The series will return to its stealth roots in the game, which is set two decades before the events of the last game.

The studio leading the development on the project described Basim as the most flexible assassin in franchise history. Some of the new abilities he will have will be shown in the cinematic trailer. Basim has an eagle in his kit. Like Senu in Origins, Enkidu can be used to spot potential threats, but there will be archers who can take out your feathery friend. Basim will have new gadgets and the ability to plot out multiple assassinations.

parkour will play a larger role in the upcoming games than it has in the past. Basim would be one of the fastest free runners in franchise history with a move set that included both new and returning tricks. The Hidden Ones, the organization thatpredates the Assassin Brotherhood, will be the focus of the story.

Assassin's Creed Mirage will be available on PS4 and PS5 next year. Fans can look forward to the last chapter. The DLC will be free and will finish the story.
