What to expect from the launch

Kennedy Space Center in Florida will host the launch on September 10. A bunch of 34 Starlink satellites will be placed into low- Earth orbit.

Regular Starlink launch watchers will notice that it is less than the typical batches of up to 60 satellites deployed by a Falcon 9. The BlueWalker 3 satellite will be put into low-Earth space.

13 previous missions have seen the first stage or booster of the Falcon 9 fly on it's maiden voyage. A new record has been set for the number of times the company has used a booster.

The first stage booster was used to launch eight Starlink missions. The first stage will land in the Atlantic Ocean following stage separation. This will be the first five-burn mission for Falcon9.

The number of times the rocket will fire its engines is called a five-burn mission.
