One of the longest road trips in the Bahamas is on Long Island, which is 80 miles long and offers an array of exploration opportunities, from Dean's Blue Hole, a 663ft marine cavern, to Hamilton Cave and Cape Santa Maria.

It is easy to get to this outer island via a connecting flight. What's our recommendation? If you want to make sunset at Cape Santa Maria on the northern end of the island, you need to arrange for a local car-rental company to have your vehicle waiting at Deadman's Cay.
