Jordan Poyer didn't get a contract extension from the Buffalo Bills, but they did adjust his current deal so he can potentially earn more money in the future
The Bills agreed to increase the amount Poyer can earn through incentives from $500,000 to $2 million, according to Drew.

Poyer's current deal places him 16th among all safeties.
Throughout the off-season, Poyer wanted an extension. He missed the Bills' voluntary workouts in April but showed up for the mandatory mini camp in June.
Poyer was asked about his contract when the Bills opened training camp.

"Drew and I have a great relationship, as do us and Jordan, and Drew and I have had many conversations." He came up here and did this to start camp, but we're good. We love Jordan and I don't discuss negotiations. I would be willing to talk about it, but Drew is great to work with.
According to Brad Spielberger of Pro Football Focus, Hoyer has an 81.0 overall grade over the last two seasons, which is 6th among all safeties.
Poyer signed a four-year contract with the Bills. He was given a two-year extension in March 2020 that will keep him with the team through the 2022 season.
Poyer has established himself as a key part of Buffalo's defense since he joined the team. He was named to the All-Pro team for the first time in his career in 2021.
Poyer played for two teams before joining the Bills.
