One of the most expensive property markets in the US is San Francisco, and a new listing shows just how expensive it can get.
There is a house for sale in the South Beach neighborhood. It seems like it's cheap in a city where the median home price is over one million dollars.
It's not a home or any residential space for that to be the case. There is a parking spot.
The space is only for parking. There is a parking space near the lobby.
The spot is being leased for $300 a month, according to the listing. Whoever buys the space will have to use it for 25 years.
The space is close to the stadium.
Bill Williams, the listing agent for the spot, told USA Today that his clients bought this spot in addition to the one they already owned. Someone who does not live in the building can use the space.
There will be another South Beach parking spot in San Francisco in 2020. There are other big cities with expensive parking.
New York City has a lot of parking. A couple in Hong Kong sold a parking spot for $6 million, setting a new property record.
