President Joe Biden is taking the gloves off and his supporters are happy about it.

He did an impression of the typical GOP lawmaker doing that when he called out Republicans for claiming credit for the infrastructure projects they voted against.

13 Republicans in the House and 19 in the Senate helped pass the bill to improve roads, bridges, ports, water systems, high-speed internet and more.

Republicans helped us a bit. Biden said at the DNC that it was enough to get it passed. There are a lot of Republicans who took credit for that bill.

Many GOP lawmakers have bragged about the projects coming to their states and districts even though they voted against them.

Biden looked into their eyes.

The new bridge is going to be built here. All of us are for it. He said, before reverting to his normal voice, that he loved them. There is no shame for them. They don't have anything to be ashamed of.

The line was similar last year.

He said that some people had no shame and bragged about the projects that would benefit their districts. I'm happy that they know that it helped their people.

He held up a list of 13 examples, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
