Jackson played for 14 clubs in his career, the most recent in 2019.

He posted on his social media that he was hanging up his cleats. Fourteen different organizations allowed me to represent them.

Jackson spent time with the Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Washington Nationals, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, and the Detroit Pistons.

He threw a no-hitter for the D-backs in 2010 In that game, the right-handed pitcher walked eight hitters and threw 149 pitches.

In a 4-3 loss to the San Francisco Giants, he became the first player in major league history to pitch for 14 teams.

Jackson had been tied with Dotel for most teams.

Jackson said that it said that he had a lot of perseverance. I'm not going to back down. Some of the teams have had situations that have made people want to quit and cry. It gets harder for me to prove to myself that I can make it in the majors.
