If you don’t want to take apart your own Steam Deck, Valve’s new repair centers can do it for you.

You can send your handheld gaming PC to one of the company's new repair centers to get it fixed if something is broken with your steam deck

It will be free to repair anything that is covered by the steam deck warranty. The company will fix your device for a fee if it's out of warranty. You can decline the repair if you don't want to pay the fee.

This out of warranty paid repair service is completely optional, and if you want to repair your Deck yourself (via @iFixit parts and guides, for instance), that's up to you! More details here: https://t.co/e0q4ytqQ9V

If you think you can fix your Steam Deck on your own, Valve is willing to help; the company has a partnership with iFixit that will allow you to get the parts you need to repair things yourself. Sean repaired his noisy fan. For those of us who are a little nervous about opening up our beloved steam deck, the new repair centers offer another way to get things fixed.
