Walmart+ subscribers can now see the Paramount+ benefit. Go to your Walmart+ account page and click on the button that says "How streaming works" You will be taken to the Paramount+ page. You will be sent to the Paramount+ website once you click "Get Paramount+".
Platinum card holders were given a monthly credit for Walmart+ subscriptions by American Express last year.
Walmart is trying to compete with Amazon Prime. You can get free shipping on items that are in stock at Walmart as well as same-day, free delivery from your local store if you order $35 or more. Walmart+ members can save 10 cents per gallon on fuel at Walmart, Murphy and ExxonMobil stations.
The Amex move was mocked across the points and miles ecoosphere because, well, nothing says 'luxury' quite like Walmart.
Walmart has added another benefit to its memberships. The Paramount+ Essential Plan will be free for Walmart+ members. Most Paramount+ content will have limited ads.
It seems like Walmart is trying to align Walmart+ with Amazon Prime by adding a streaming option. It will get me to use my AMex Platinum Walmart+ benefit in order to increase the appeal of the membership. Access to both European and American soccer can be found on Paramount+, as well as a couple of shows that we like.
There is no official launch date for Walmart access. If you haven't started using the Walmart+ benefit yet, now is the time. You can enroll on the American Express website. If you use your Platinum Card to pay for Walmart+ membership, you will get a statement credit within 3 days.
