Chris Rodriguez Jr., Kentucky's star running back, won't play against Florida on Saturday due to injury, according to sources.
According to sources, Kentucky is hopeful of getting an answer within the week on the NCAA matter that has kept Rodriguez out of the lineup. He is expected to miss three games. Both Northern Illinois and Kentucky will play at home.

In its season opener, Kentucky was held to 50 yards on the ground. Ramon Jefferson, a senior running back who transferred from Sam Houston State, will be out for the rest of the season after tearing an anterior capsule in the opener.
Stoops said that it was out of his hands and that there were many different layers to the decision.
Rodriguez was supposed to be out three to four games, according to Matt Jones.
Rodriguez was charged with driving under the influence. He pleaded guilty during his conference.
After missing the opener, Jordan Wright will return for the Florida game.
The last four games between the two teams have been decided by two points or less.
