Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes weren't included in the Brazil squad for the upcoming games against Tunisia and Libya.

Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes were left out of the Brazil squad.

The three players have been a key part of the team's success this season and have helped propel them to the top of the league.

They won't be involved in Brazil's pre- World Cup matches against Tunisia and Ghana.

Pedro, the top scorer in this year's Libertadores with 12 goals, has been included by Tite as a new attacking option for Brazil.

Gabriel won't be part of the experiment with two new defenders called up for the first time.

Brazil squad for warm-up matches:

  • Goalkeepers: Alisson (Liverpool), Ederson (Manchester City), Weverton (Palmeiras)
  • Defenders: Danilo, Alex Sandro, Gleison Bremer (all Juventus), Alex Telles (Sevilla), Thiago Silva (Chelsea), Eder Militao (Real Madrid), Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain), Roger Ibaez (Roma)
  • Midfielders: Casemiro, Fred (both Manchester United), Fabinho (Liverpool), Lucas Paquet (West Ham), Bruno Guimares (Newcastle), Everton Ribeiro (Flamengo)
  • Forwards: Neymar (Paris Saint-Germain), Richarlison (Tottenham), Roberto Firmino (Liverpool), Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo (both Real Madrid), Antony (Manchester United), Raphinha (Barcelona), Matheus Cunha (Atletico Madrid), Pedro (Flamengo).

The other notable absences in the squad for Brazil's last friendly before the final World Cup squad is announced were defender, Philippe Coutinho, and forward, Martinelli.

Casemiro and Fred are two of the Manchester United players who have been selected. There are places for Antony and Lucas Paquet as well.

The players included are Thiago Silva, Bruno Guimares, and Richarlison.

Group G at the World Cup is made up of Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroonian.
