Ten Premier League fixtures were due to be played across Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, this weekend's English Football League and premier league games have been postponed.

There were 10 top-flight matches over the weekend.

There were games scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

All British horse racing and cricket's Test between England and South Africa were called off on Friday due to bad weather.

Queen Elizabeth II reigned for 70 years after her death at the age of 96.

The decision to honor the Queen's "extraordinary life and contribution to the nation" was taken by the premier league and will be given in due course.

Richard Masters, the league's chief executive, said that they would like to pay tribute to the queen.

It's a sad time for the nation and millions of people around the world who admired her, and we join together in mourning her passing.

It was advised by the national mourning guidance that it was up to individual sports to decide if they wanted to keep the fixture.

There's more to come.
