There are two tournaments inBOLTON There are two different feelings.
The 122nd U.S. Open and the fourth-ever LIV Golf Invitation were both hosted by Massachusetts.
The first took place from June 16 to 19 at The Country Club in Brookline while the second took place last week at The International inBolton. The only similarity between the two events was that they both were played in the state.

Mike Proulx, a current member at The International, said it was night and day.
According to its website, LIV Golf aims to "reinspire golf through a structure that adds value to the entire sport while helping to bring new audiences to the game"
The slogan is "golf, but louder" as it features music, players wearing shorts and a fan village with games.
Jack Fruh is a freshman golfer at the high school. It's more chill. The players should be more comfortable.
The fan zone is a great place to hang out.
Brae Burn Country Club will host the US Women's Amateur Championship.
There are a few differences between the LIV Golf format and the U.S. Open, one of which is the shotgun start. The three-day tourney has just 48 players, who are drafted into 12 different teams. Prize money for individual and team winners is $255 million.
"That was one of the cool things I've ever been to, and I went to the golf invitational on Friday." It is more interesting because it is a team thing and you have to watch everything.
The prices for food and merchandise were the same as at the other event. It is not possible to say the same for tickets.

The canned water price is $3.50.
Wine is $9, canned wine is $12.

Kayem all beef hot dog is $7.
There are cookies for $3 and cookie for $3.50.

There are tickets for the event.
Kids under the age of 15 are free.
It might not be fair to compare the two events. Given the popularity of the Open and the novelty of LIV Golf, it's especially important.

Proulx said it was kind of apples and oranges. I don't know if serious is the right word, but it's a different level.
There were two golf events in Massachusetts this year and it was still enjoyable.
The players still signed autographs, the fans still cheered, and the champion was still crowned.
Francis Ouimet did a great job at the U.S. Open.
Brendan O'Brien is a senior at Hudson High and attended the LIV Golf event on Sunday. There aren't many big events over here so to have two is cool.
The Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia financed the new golf tour which was held at The International.
Fans stayed to watch Johnson win on the 18th green in a three person playoff. The former top golfer in the world sprayed champagne on his teammates after they won the LIV Golf team event.
The person said it was more for the fans.
Some golf fans aren't jumping on the bandwagon just yet. The new tour has caused a divide among golf fans and players.
Hopedale junior golfer Lucas Levasseur said, "I'm just aPGA guy."
Wouldn't it be great if local golf fans could watch the LIV Golf Invitation next year?
There are 17 high school golf players to watch in MetroWest.
O'Brien said 100 percent.
I can't wait until next year because they have a three-year contract, said Proulx. The main difference from the Open is the access. When I bring my kids to the Open, I try to lift them up over people, but at LIV, you're on the ropes and 10 feet away from some of the best players in the world.
