Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay said Thursday night's three-touchdown loss to the Buffalo Bills was a "humbling experience."

The Super Bowl LVI banner was unveiled by the Rams but they lost to Buffalo 31-10) and never found any consistency on offense.

McVay said that he felt a huge sense of responsibility to the team. We weren't prepared to leave. I take a lot of responsibility for that. I have to improve. I made a lot of decisions that didn't put our players in good places.

We are going to stay connected. All of us are going to look inward. We will do a better job in the future.

It was straight up.

"I felt like third downs killed us in the game," Bobby Wagner said. The Bills' offense was 9-for-10 on third down, tying for the second-best mark in the past 30 seasons. Buffalo didn't have to punt

The quarterback was sacked seven times. Some times, his team used a silent snap count even though they were at home, and Buffalo did a great job of jumping the count.

The crowd noise at Sofi Stadium didn't bother Stafford.

Stafford said they prepared for it. We were ready to be on the silent count again. It was something we have done before.

The Rams were forced to go to a silent snap count in last year's Week 18 game against the 49ers because of the crowd noise.

Cooper Kupp said that silent count makes it harder to get off the ball. You don't want to be quiet.

More than half of the Rams' receiving yards came from Kupp, who caught 13 passes for 128 yards. Allen Robinson, who signed a three-year, $46.5 million contract with the Rams in the off-season, was only targeted twice on 45 routes, the lowest of his career.

Akers played just 12 snaps to Darrell Henderson Jr.'s 54 in the Rams' offense.

McVay said after the game that they didn't get in a rhythm.

Next week will be the first time in McVay's career that his team is under.500. McVay entered the game with 81 straight games without his team being under.500.
