The Golden State Warriors announced on Thursday that they had signed former Los Angeles Clippers lottery pickJerome Robinson.

The terms of the agreement were not made public.

Robinson was a member of the Santa Cruz Warriors. He averaged 20.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 22 games while shooting 45.3% from the floor and 34.1% from deep.

Robinson was drafted by the Clippers in the NBA draft. He played in L.A. over the course of a season and a half, and averaged 3.1 points and 1.3 rebound per game.

Robinson was traded from the Clippers to the Wizards in February 2020 as part of a three team deal.

The 25-year-old was released in April 2021.

Robinson should be in the running for a roster spot in Golden State. There are 13 guaranteed contracts on the team's roster for 2022-23.

One of those spots is being held for a veteran who is considering retirement. Robinson will be fighting for a roster spot if he returns for a second season.

The Warriors are looking to win another title after defeating the Celtics in the NBA finals last season. The bench needs to be solid in order to make another run.
