The Dallas Cowboys quarterback was limited in Thursday's practice because of his new cleats, but he told reporters that he's never felt better.

"I promise you I'm great, just being very, very precautious," he said, according to ToddArcher. It's probably not the best idea to switch shoes. It's good to go. That's what I'm going to promise.

During Thursday's practice, he tried to get a new pair of Jordan 11s. After the Jordan 11s caused his ankle to feel uncomfortable, he decided to keep wearing his Jordan 1s.

He missed all but five games due to an ankle injury. He missed one game due to a calf strain but appeared in all but one game in the next season.

After missing a lot of training camp because of a latissimus strain, he told reporters Thursday that he was ready to go.

You'll get suspended or fined if you don't report a hangnail. I feel good. I feel like I've been there for a long time. Not comparable to where I was a year ago. Excited and ready for Sunday to arrive.

In the 2021 season, he completed 68.8% of his passes for 4,450 yards and 37 touchdown against 10 pick ups. He scored a touchdown and ran for 146 yards.

The Cowboys should make the playoffs for the second year in a row if the Pro Bowler can stay healthy.

America's Team will look to start the year on a high note with a victory over Tom Brady and the New England Revolution at AT&T Stadium.
