The Alaska Airlines Visa Credit Card is a great credit card. This card is offering a limited time welcome bonus, which is great since Alaska Mileage Plan miles are priceless. There are a lot of reasons to keep this card.

After spending $2,000 in the first 90 days, the Alaska Airlines Credit Card will give you a limited time bonus.

• Earn 50,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles
• Earn an Alaska Airlines companion fare from $121 ($99 fare, plus taxes and fees starting at just $22)

The 50,000 bonus miles are worth $850 to me if I value them at 1.7 cents each. With the Mileage Plan you can get a one-way international business class ticket in many regions.

The companion certificate that you get with the welcome bonus can save you hundreds of dollars.

Bank of America is the issuer of the Alaska Airlines Credit Card.

• Bank of America will typically only approve you for two cards in a two month period, three cards in a 12 month period, and four cards in a 24 month period (this typically doesn’t include business cards)
• Per the terms, “this card will not be available to you if you currently have or have had the card in the preceding 24 month period”

There is a $75 annual fee for the Alaska Airlines credit card. It is on the low side for a co-brand airline credit card, as a lot of other airline credit cards have annual fees of close to $100. The airline credit card is one of the most rewarding.

The return on spending is offered by the Alaska Airlines credit card.

• 3x Mileage Plan miles for Alaska Airlines purchases
• 1x Mileage Plan miles for all other purchases

The card has no foreign transaction fees and is ideal for purchases outside of the country. While there are better cards for everyday spending, the reality is that Alaska Mileage Plan miles are hard to earn as no major currency partners with Alaska Airlines.

This is a good option if you want to earn Alaska Airlines miles.

The annual companion fare that the Alaska Airlines Credit Card offers is more than enough to justify the annual fee.

I think the Alaska Airlines companion certificate is the most valuable airline companion ticket. You will have to pay taxes and fees starting at $22, so you will pay $121 for your companion.

This companion fare is so special because it is valid on all Alaska Airlines economy fares, you can use it for one-way or roundtrips, the companion earns miles and is eligible for upgrades, etc.

Alaska Airlines Visa Card first free checked bag

You can get a free checked bag with your Alaska Airlines credit card. If you check bags in Alaska, you can save $60 per person if you check bags. If you fly Alaska frequently but don't have elite status, that alone could justify the yearly fee.

Alaska Airlines Visa Card 20% inflight savings

You can get 20% back on Alaska Airlines inflight purchases when you use the Alaska Airlines credit card.

The statement credit should be posted to your account within seven days. There is no limit to how many times you can use this.

While a few credit cards offer savings on in flight purchases, they almost always exclude wi-fi. Being able to get a discount is great.

The Alaska Airlines Visa® Business card is a good choice if you are eligible for business credit cards.

• The card has a massive limited time welcome bonus of 70,000 Mileage Plan miles plus an Alaska Airlines companion fare from $121 as part of the welcome bonus
• There are many reasons to get this card, from the first checked bag free, to the savings on flight purchases, to the annual companion fare
• Anecdotally the card is quite easy to be approved for, and you’re even eligible for the bonus if you’ve had the card before
• You could pick up both cards, and take advantage of both welcome bonuses, and also receive two companion certificates annually

I think the Alaska Airlines Credit Card is one of the best airline credit cards out there. It is worth applying for and keeping this card because of the limited time welcome bonus and annual companion fare.
