In a statement about the dealth of Queen Elizabeth II, former President Donald Trump said he and his wife will always be friends with the Queen.

He wrote that there was no one like her.

When the queen died on September 8, 2022, she was 96 years old.

During an interview with Piers Morgan in April, Trump said he had a good time with the queen at a state dinner.

Someone said they've never seen her smile like that.

He said that she had a great time at the state dinner. Normally they're a bit boring. This was interesting.

The statement is below.

We are sad to hear of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. We send our deepest sympathies to the Royal Family and the people of the United Kingdom during this sad time. The legacy of peace and prosperity left by Queen Elizabeth is enormous. She secured alliances with the US and other countries around the world. She will always be remembered for her steadfast devotion to her fellow countrymen and women. We will always remember the time we spent with the Queen and her kindness, wisdom, and sense of humor. There was no one like her. As you honor her most meaningful life and exceptional service to the people, our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless the Queen, may she reign forever in our hearts, and may God be with her and Prince Philip in their time of need.

The story is getting better.
