Apple this week introduced the second-generation AirPods Pro with improved audio quality, longer battery life, up to 2x as much noise cancellation as the original AirPods Pro, a new charging case with Find My support and water resistance, and a new ear tip option.

The new case is around 10% heavier than the original, which is 48.6 grams. The weight of the left and right earbuds has not changed.
The skin-detect sensor in the new AirPods Pro is more accurate than the dual optical sensors in the original AirPods Pro. The new AirPods Pro have an improved sensor that makes it easier to turn on or off audio play.
Last year, the skin-detect sensor was added to the third- generation standard AirPods.
There is a built in lanyard loop on the right side of the case, but Apple says the lanyards are sold separately. There is a lanyard available from Incase for $12.
The new AirPods Pro case can now be charged with an apple watch's magnetic charging puck.
Customers can personalize the second-gen AirPods Pro case with their own Memoji for free through the Apple Store app.
According to Apple's tech specs, the new AirPods Pro support the same type of wireless communication. Several benefits for the wireless headphones, but Apple has not made any mention of the device supporting LE Audio at this time.
