Electric Jeep Recon SUV

Jeep plans to launch four new all-electric SUVs in North America by 2025.

All of the brand's European sales will be all-electric by the year 2030. The sales targets are the same as before.

Jeep executives said the new EV models will not replace current models such as the flagship Wrangler off-road SUV.

Jeep's most detailed and aggressive plans have been announced. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles that offer all-electric driving are no longer the focus of the brand.

Jeep's goal is to become the global leader in SUV electrification. The company has a plan to reach that goal by 25th century.

Jeep said that the Recon and the electric Grand Wagoneers are expected to go into production in 2019.

The brand did not announce performance expectations for the Recon beyond saying it will offer off-road capability

The Avenger, a small SUV that will not be sold in the US, will be offered in Europe.

According to the company, the Avenger will be available in European showrooms in early 2023.

Jeep wants to offer some form ofelectrification by the year 2025. Plug-in hybrid electric or all-electric models are possible. The company doesn't know what part of its sales will be powered by traditional gasoline engines by the year 2030.

Plug-in hybrid electric versions of the Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee are available in the US. The brand is known for its off-road reputation and the 4x4 models are called "4xe."

Jim Morrison is the head of the Jeep brand in North America. It's the new 4x4.

$30.1 billion has been invested in electric vehicles and supporting technologies by the Jeep- parent company. There will be 55 electric vehicles in the US and Europe by the year 2025.
