The name of the Pixel 7 series' Chipset has been confirmed by the search giant, as the Tensor line of processors appears to become a mainstay.

The next-generation in-house processor will be known as the Tensor G2 according to the product page. Confirmation of the launch date of the company's next best phones was also included in the tease.

A critical missing piece of the puzzle has been filled in by the new information regarding the Pixel 7 series. There is no word on what branding will be used for the next- generation of smartphones. The previous reports only mentioned a processor.

The name of the line seems to suggest that it is here to stay, and it may give insight into what processor branding will be included under the hood. It's easy to guess what this processor will be called based on the latest confirmation from the search engine giant.
