According to United Airlines, demand is strong.

The revenue guidance for the third quarter was slightly raised. The carrier is expecting to beat its operating revenue guidance by 12% in the third quarter.

The adjusted operating margin is now expected to be 10.5%, up from the previous guidance of 10%.

United does not expect capacity to go up or down as much in 2019.

Patrick Quayle, senior vice president of global network for United, said at the conference that there has been no decline in demand for flights to Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.
