The Steve Jobs Archive is an organization dedicated to celebrating the technology titan. The archive can be found at Steve Jobs Archive.

The site is easy to navigate right now. There is an email Jobs sent to himself about his admiration for humankind. Some of the quotes from Jobs can be found in the scroll down. There is a description for the archive. There are video and audio clips of Jobs.

The Steve Jobs Archive gives people the tools and opportunities to make their own contribution. Steve has a sense of possibility and we are building programs that reflect that. Some of the historical materials relating to Steve have never before been made public. There will be more announcements in the near future.

Laurene Powell Jobs introduced the archive at the code conference. The archive is more about ideas than it is about artifacts.

According to Powell Jobs, the archive is based on the idea that everything in the built environment and the systems that govern our life on the planet were created by other humans. You can change it if you have that insight, and you can stretch it if you have that insight as well. Human progress occurs in that way.
