You won't need an Apple watch to use Apple Fitness+. All 21 countries where Apple currently offers it will be able to use the service. The news that a Watch-free iPhone fitness app was coming isn't surprising.

When Apple launched Fitness+ in 2020, the experience was all about its watches, which made it hard to watch workouts on Apple TV. The full Fitness+ service will soon be available for iPhone-only users. The calories that you burn will be estimated by your phone and counted towards the Move ring. You will be able to join Fitness+ on iPad and Apple TV even if you don't have an Apple device.

More Time to Walk episodes will be released this fall. Time to Walk is an audio experience that encourages people to walk more frequently. The fourth season will feature stories from several people. Time to Run will give Fitness+ subscribers virtual running routes from places like Alaska, Monterey, and Seattle. The Time to Walk and Time to Run will be available in the fitness section of the app.

Beginning September 12th, Fitness+ users will be able to access more Artist Spotlight workouts featuring music from the likes of The Rolling Stones and The Weeknd. There were also classes with a new yoga trainer, as well as a collection ofPilates workouts designed to strengthen the whole body. Extra guidance and trainer coaching can be found on the Apple watch.
