The body of a woman was found by police near a vacant home in Memphis, Tennessee.

The disturbing details were included in an amended affidavit that was filed Tuesday.

Abston was originally accused of kidnapping and tampering with evidence. First degree murder and first degree murder in perpetration of kidnapping were added. A judge ordered him to be held on a $500,000 bond after he was charged with kidnapping and tampering with evidence.

The judge revoked Abston's bond on Wednesday during a murder charge hearing.

Around 7 a.m., police were made aware of the missing person.

She was running near the University of Memphis when she went missing. According to a criminal complaint, the security video showed a black Terrain waiting for the victim to run by.

The man forced the woman into the passenger's seat after exiting the vehicle. Abston's DNA was found on a pair of sandals at the scene and investigators determined that he was the person in the vehicle. He was in the area at the time of the abduction.

A witness told police that Abston was outside his brother's apartment cleaning his SUV with a floor cleaner. It looked like Abston was acting strange.

Abston's brother told police that he saw Abston wash his clothes in the sink and clean his car. Abston seemed to be acting very strange, according to the brother.

Abston is seen arriving at the apartments around 7 am in the video. It was Friday. He went inside his brother's apartment after sitting in the car for a bit. He leaves the apartment and goes to the passenger side of the car.

Abston was taken into custody after investigators found the SUV in a parking lot. Abston wouldn't tell investigators where he was.

She was found dead near Victor Street in Memphis. There was an odor of decay when police saw vehicle tracks near the driveway.

The affidavit says that officers walked to the back of the house and found him on the floor.

According to the affidavit, police found a trash bag with purple running shorts that looked similar to those worn by the missing woman.

The family said they were devastated by the loss.

"Liza was a joy to everyone who knew her, including her family, friends, colleagues, students, parents, members of her Second Presbyterian Church congregation, and everyone who knew her," they said. It's time to remember how special she was and to support those who cared for her.
