The former attorney general was able to come back from an insult from his boss. William Barr doesn't care that Donald Trump called him a "RINO" because he uses the "Republican in name only" insult on anyone who doesn't support his baseless claims about a stolen 2020 presidential election. Barr told Fox News that there was no legitimate reason for the Justice Department to search Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate. Barr is skeptical of the claim that Trump declassified everything. Trump was upset about the comments. Bill Barr didn't have any guts or glory. The former president wrote on his Truth Social platform that he was a weak and pathetic RINO who was afraid of being impeached. The term "RINO" is thrown out by Trump to attack his detractors.
Barr told Fox News that he didn't care about the rant. Is anyone who disagrees with him a Republican? That's a Republican.
He said it was a little silly that he handed out Barry Goldwater literature when he was a teenager on the Upper West Side.
Since Barr declined to support Trump's claims that the election had been rigged, they have fallen out.
