The newest version of Apple's mobile operating system, called iOS 16, will be available to all users with compatible phones on September 12th.
App developers and members of the public program have been testing out the new version of Apple's mobile operating system.
The Lock Screen is the most significant change in the new operating system. Customers can create their own Lock Screen with the new Lock Screen. Customers can choose different colors for the time, addwidgets, add new wallpaper with a depth effect that subtly covers the time, filters, color tint, and more.
Highly requested features have been added to Messages. Messages can now be edited up to 15 minutes after they've been sent, and they can also be unmailed up to 2 minutes after they accidentally send it. The improvements to SharePlay and collaboration within Messages are included in the newest version of the mobile operating system.
In Mail, for example, Apple is improving features such as Spotlight search, adding new ones, and scheduling send for emails, among others. Multi-stop routing and transit card support are some of the notable features of Apple Maps.
In previous years, the two operating systems were released at the same time, but not this year. iPadOS 16 will be available later in the fall, but it is compatible with the following phones.
