You can switch from one leg of a triathlon to the next with the action button. When athletes arrive at tracks later this year, there will be auto-detection. It has an 86 decibel siren that can be used to find you.
It is water resistant and can be used for water sports. When you're underwater you can see time, depth, and temperature. It has been certified for scuba diving. There is a new app for recreational and scuba diving.
There are three new bands. They are designed to endure long runs, hard falls, and rippling currents.
There is a new chapter in Apple's journey with the Apple Watch. The Apple Watches have been more of a general use device. The Ultra is meant to compete with other fitness devices.
