A new PS5 system software update will include support for 1440p resolution, a new gamelists feature, and improvements to the user experience. The testing for 1440p on PS5 began in July and now all PS5 owners will be able to access the update.

PS5 owners can choose the resolution on their TVs and monitors. 4K games will improve anti-aliasing if they use supersampling down to 1440p output. Variable refresh rate won't be supported at 1440p, and will only work at1080p and 4k on the PS5

There is a gamelists feature in the new PS5 update. Each game list can hold up to 100 games and can be created from the main game library. There is a limit on the number of games that can be added to the list.

The ability to request a Screen Share from a friend in a party is one of the new features that Sony has added. You will be able to send stickers and voice messages in party chats now, as well as compare the different audio settings before changing.

The PS5 is being tested for improved voice search. When you say "Hey PSone, find Spider-Man on YouTube", the results will show. Right now, the Voice Command preview is only available in English for PS5 owners in the US and UK.
