The Brewers led off the game with a 499-foot home run by Christian Yelich, but the Rockies tied it in the bottom of the first and went on to win in 10.

The Brewers are two games behind the Padres for the final wild-card spot.

Yelich gave Milwaukee a good start, hitting a drive into the third deck. It was the third-longest home run since Statcast started tracking homers in 2015.

"That's one of those ones where everything lines up for you and you catch it in a really good spot," Yelich said after the game. I've had my first home run here in nine or 10 times. If you are going to wait, make it count.

Yelich said that Statcast should have been able to make the distance 500 feet.

He smiled when asked if he was short changed by the tabulation.

After the loss wears off, it will be cooler.

Grichuk's home run capped a five-run rally that made it 6-all. He hit his 15th home run of the season off Taylor Rogers.

The man was impressed by Yelich.

Grichuck said that it was a bomb. I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than 500. That was great.

The win was secured by Daniel Bard.

In the 10th frame, Adames drove in Yelich with a double to give the Brewers a 7-6 lead.

Daza's double in the 10th tied it after he had hit a three-run home run in the eighth. Grichuk hit the home run after an intentional walk and a ground out.

The Rockies came back to tie the game in the eighth after the Brewers built a 6-1 lead.

The Rockies scored two runs in the eighth and one in the ninth to win it. Daza and Grichuk hit back-to-back homers to make it six-all.

Yelich's 12th home run gave Milwaukee the lead and Hunter Renfroe's 25th of the year made it 2-0. In the fourth, Narvaez hit a two-run double, and in the seventh, Adames hit a two-run double.

Colorado's lone run came in the third when Elehuris Montero hit a home run.
