When hearing of a Republican lawmaker's attempts to block President Joe Biden's student-loan forgiveness, Rep.
Cruz told the Washington Post that he's been working with a Supreme Court litigator to find the best person to overturn it.
After word got out that Cruz is scheming ways to block Biden's relief, she wrote that she's not worried about the legality of debt cancellation.
"Lucifer in the flesh is a miserable little weasel, no wonder he's called that," he said. Student debt cancellation is legal and should not be questioned. If you qualify for relief and file before the end of December, you'll get an alert.

It would be difficult to file a lawsuit over student loan forgiveness.
It's difficult to find a person who the courts will conclude has standing. He said that it may be a real challenge.
Conservative groups and GOP attorneys general are trying to challenge the loan forgiveness in court. The CEO of the Job Creators Network said in a statement that they are weighing their legal options to block the student loan rescue.
The move is unfair to the tens of millions of Americans who never went to college and are now forced to shoulder loan forgiveness.
The staff attorney at the National Consumer Law Center told Insider that borrowers shouldn't be worried about these legal threats right now. She said that it would be difficult to get the court to hold off on implementing relief until a decision is made on the legality of Biden's actions.
Biden has inquired about the legality of student-loan forgiveness in the past. The Education and Justice Department was asked to create memos on Biden's legal ability to wipe out student debt after he expressed he wasn't sure he had the authority to do so.
The Education Secretary has the authority under the HEROES Act to waive or modify student loan balances if there is a national emergency.
Republican lawmakers continue to argue that this is an overreach of authority and that Biden should have been approved by Congress.
Despite the debate surrounding the legality of broad debt relief, Biden's administration is still planning to roll out applications for debt cancellation in October.
The National Economic Council's deputy director said that the legal authority gave the secretary the ability to make sure that the emergency did not cause a net financial harm.
