The National Football League will consider disciplining players for incidents during joint practices in the future, according to Mark Maske of the Washington Post.

There is an idea on the winter agenda.

A fight broke out during a joint practice between the Los Angeles Rams and CincinnatiBengals.

A player in the scrum swings his helmet. Donald held two helmets as he was pushed to the ground.

For what it’s worth, the #NFL historically has yielded to teams when it comes to punishment for fights that occur in joint practices. Although, this is pretty far beyond the usual stuff. This is wild. pic.twitter.com/4Dwi6PgEmK

The two teams ended their practices early.

Discipline would be handled internally by L.A. It's not clear what punishment players received.

Donald told reporters he didn't want to talk about the fight and has moved on.

Donald is focused on Buffalo right now. I'm happy no one got hurt in the practice, but my main focus is Thursday night against Buffalo.

A number of fights and players being ejected were part of the joint practices between New England and Carolina.

Last month, the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets were involved in fights.

With more fighting and less football being played during joint practices, the NFL is considering disciplining players.

The preseason is over and any change won't take effect until the following year.
