The former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach is expected to plead guilty on Monday to felony driving while intoxicated causing serious injury after a car crash that seriously injured a young girl.

The son of a coach is expected to plead guilty. He was going to be tried in September.

He could face up to seven years in prison.

He hopes and prays that A.Y. will continue to recover from his injuries. J.R. Hobbs said in a news release thatriel Young is a client. He apologized to A.Y. and her family and to his own family. He apologized to the Hunt family and the organization. Mr.Reid hopes that his plea will bring some sense of justice to the people he has hurt.

When he hit two parked cars on an entrance ramp, police said he was drunk and speeding. Young sustained a brain injury.

One of the vehicles he hit had a dead battery and the other was owned by Young's mother.

According to court records, he had a blood alcohol level of 0.113 two hours after the crash. There is a legal limit.

The man who had emergency surgery after the crash was placed on administrative leave. After his contract expired, he lost his job with the team.

In November, the Chiefs reached an agreement with Young's family to cover her medical expenses.
