Cyberpunk 2077’s new update adds cross-platform saves, mod management, and more

There is a new performance mode for Xbox Series S, an official tool for installing and making mod, and a big improvement to outfits via the 1.6 Edgerunners update, which was announced alongside the Phantom Liberty DLC pack. The company says that 1.6 will be the last major update for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Today's update is available for all platforms, including the last-gen consoles. It is a 39.6% download on the XBox.

The transmog system allows you to change your outfit without changing your armor rating or other statistics. It could help avoid a problem where the player is forced to choose between an outfit that looks cool and one that has better statistics. I welcome it as someone who usually chooses the latter. When you shop for clothing at a vendor, you will be able to see a preview.

Cross- platform saves are added for users who are logging in. Load your save file from your PS5 and pick up where you left off If you live in a place where some of the game's content iscensored, you can still play it.

CD Projekt Red is releasing a tool for PCs. The company says that the official tool will help people manage and install mod as well as create them. It will allow you to add your own sounds, animations, and script to the game.

Smaller additions are included in the update. The performance mode setting from the Series X will make the game aim to hit 60 frames per second while keeping the resolution between 800p and1080p. The new equipment and new Photo Mode features that were added in the 1.6 patch will tie in to the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime that will premiere on the streaming service.

There is an in-game arcade cabinet that allows you to play a game with Geralt. The company is releasing it as a separate app for the two most popular mobile platforms, and it seems like it is very similar to the dinosaur game in the chrome browser.
